Accessibility at IXB.
IXB builds software for people who have to use it all day, often under time pressure, in regulated work. Accessibility is part of whether the product functions — not a compliance exercise bolted on at the end.
What has been checked on this site.
The website is tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the working target. The areas below are covered by automated and manual checks on every page at desktop, tablet, and mobile widths.
- Full keyboard operation, with no keyboard traps
- Visible keyboard focus and logical focus order
- Screen-reader labels and page landmarks
- Heading structure
- Form-field labels and error messages
- Color contrast
- Text zoom and reflow
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Reduced-motion support
- Accessible menus and dialogs
Contrast is verified numerically rather than by eye. Every text and background pairing on this site is checked against the AA threshold for its size and weight.
What is not finished.
Listing these is the point of an honest accessibility statement. If you hit something not on this list, we want to know.
Assistive-technology testing
Automated and manual keyboard and structural checks are run against every page. Testing with screen readers and other assistive technology is scheduled and not yet complete.
Data tables
Some tables on the privacy page and in product mockups scroll horizontally on narrow screens. Structure and header association are being reviewed.
Product screenshots
Screenshots of the IXB applications carry descriptive alternative text, but the detail inside them is not available as text. Text equivalents are being added.
Downloadable documents
Public downloadable materials are reviewed for accessibility before publication. The IXB Capability Statement is available as a tagged PDF, and its content is also available as accessible HTML on the Capability Statement page. Alternative formats are available on request. Controlled evaluator materials are reviewed before release and are accompanied by current accessibility-status information.
Conformance reporting
An Accessibility Conformance Report using the appropriate VPAT edition is being prepared for each public-facing application.
